BACKGROUND
————-

With global temperatures at record highs and extreme weather events affecting people around the world, this year’s United Nations Climate Change Conference has been highlighting the need for the world to correct course and accelerate efforts to solve the climate crisis. The Paris Agreement (2015) is a landmark climate treaty, and every country and every business needs to build on the commitments and progress of the Paris Agreement to plan the course of action to reduce emissions and protect lives and livelihoods.

OUR GOAL
————-

As a committed advocate of sustainable development, SUNSTRONG international Group has consistently purchased Green Electricity Certificates (GECs) through the Guangzhou Power Exchange Center since January 2024. By January 2025, the cumulative procurement has reached **7,900 GECs** (equivalent to 7,900 MWh of green electricity), all sourced from the “Beijing Xuanli 13th Division Shisanjianfang 49.5MW Wind Power Project” in Hami City, Xinjiang. This wind power initiative significantly reduces carbon emissions by over 10,000 tons annually, driving the large-scale adoption of renewable energy.

By regularly investing in high-quality wind power certificates from Xinjiang, we not only transition our operations to clean energy but also support renewable energy development in remote regions, optimize the national energy mix, and contribute to global carbon neutrality goals. Moving forward, we will expand green electricity utilization and collaborate with industry partners to build a sustainable ecosystem, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to environmental responsibility.

Our goal : From 2023 to 2030, SUNSTRONG international Group will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent by shifting to clean energy, improving production efficiency and conserving energy consumption.
